Portland Castle is a well preserved 16th century coastal fort.
Sandsfoot was built at same time as Portland Castle in the 16th century, but
the castle has since been destroyed.
The remains of the 11th century buildings of Rufus Castle are on the east side
of Portland Bill.
Nothe Fort is a Victorian fort which now contains a museum.
