DR NICHOLAS BARRIE MBBS MRCS LRCP DRCOG FPCert

Dr Nicholas Barrie joined the practice in 1981, having qualified from Guy's Hospital in 1978. He is married to an Ophthalmologist and they have two children. His medical interests lie in the direction of GP obstetrics and ENT and he has regular clinics at the local hospital. He provides full facilities for maternity care, child health, contraception and ENT. He has been a GP trainer since 1987, and takes an active role in the Mid Sussex vocational training scheme. Outside interests include aviation, since 1982, when he first learned to fly a glider, progressing through to 1989, when he obtained a private pilot's licence. He is also the vice-chairman of a national charity dedicated to enhancing levels of computer literacy amongst general practitioners.
