These are some really old poems that I wrote, on the whole with
the intention of them being used as song lyrics, but they ended
up evolving into something else.

CARNIVAL OF SOULS

Some people they reach paradise,
Others never seem to find it,
I've got to get out of here,
I need to find a new life.

Every insult cuts me like a knife,
I'm like a leaf blowing in the wind,
There is darkness all around me,
The only light is from the fires of hell.

It's a carnival of souls,
I'm just a sideshow freak,
I'm just another lost soul,
I'm in the carnival..........of souls.

The clock is counting down,
I'm running out of time,
I'm searching for the answer,
it's a never ending road.

CENTURY SCREAM

See the fallen angel,
Hiding in the shadows,
A perfect image,
Of serenity.
Show me the way through endless time,
Rip out my heart and my soul,
Show me my shattered dreams,
Let me see them one more time.

Let my eyes wander throught he skies,
It all seems so secret and cold,
My fears are denied,
Midnight moon carry me away.

All alone in a crowded room,
Reality drifting away,
A million voices ring out through the sky,
And I turn my face away.

I see your faith slipping away,
Those who you loved and who you needed,
Tthey could have had it all,
But they chose redemption instead.

Whatever happened to yesterday,
Seems like there's a window in my mind,
Some people say it's destiny,
But no one's here to say goodbye.

DREAMS

And as my heart, like ice,
Which has never known love's device,
Shatters at your feet,
I stare at the sky, through heavy lidded eyes,
And dream.

RIP OUT MY HEART AND SOUL

Rip out my heart and my soul,
Take my faith,
And blow me away,
A virtual reality,
Unforseen tragedy,
Complete insanity washes away the day.

Seems that there's a window in my mind,
An eternity in solitude,
Salvation of the heart,
Children of conformity,
No judgement day for me,
Their forgotten words rebound.

The fortune of the brave,
Is their own,
And their's alone,
A compelling tale,
A story of retraction,
Millenium flames, a day revives

TIME

Time has a place in you,
A memory fades beneath the trees,
A key to crimson skys,
Paradise waits for you.

The wind whispers softly in my ear,
It draws the web you weave,
One place, two of heart,
Darkness in dreams comes to you.

You speak of destiny,
A word for forever,
Reflection not direction,
Black and white closing in.
