Like the deepest night,
Your love envelopes me,
Bathed in your nocturnal majesty,
I feel the mourning near.

I hear your song,
Your silent requiem,
It hauntingly entraps,
So harsh in it's obsession.

And as I see her absolute,
No solution passes to me,
And the dream it fades,
As does the day to my eternal night.

As I look into your ebony eyes,
And become mesmerized by your primaeval gaze,
I feel the Golden Earth falling away beneath,
But my addiction is sustained eternal.

I love the night,
I don't feel right unless the darkness surrounds me,
I love the way the moon reflects off the glistening lake,
Giving us a glimpse of infinity,
I love the way the stars of Orion hang shining in the sky,
Like the million dreams they inspire,
But most of all I love the way that you and I,
On a hillside or a mountaintop,
Can be removed from everyone and everything,
That tries to drag us down throughout the day,
In our own private world completely shut off from the light.
I love the night,
I don't feel right unless the darkness surrounds us,
Together and alone,
The way is was meant to be.

Release me, heal me,
Take me to a deserted time,
Where we shall not starve,
And no cruel memories gleam,
And in bliss we shall be entwined,
In each others arms.

Darkness,
When I close my eyes,
Tears,
When I see your shadow.
By no grace except my own,
I reach out,
To embrace,
To hold you in my arms,
I drift away,
With you,
Into forever,
An eternity of night,
Lit only by the passing of stars,
Into oblivion.
