JET Joint Undertaking, UK. JET is
a European Research Organisation which aims at confirming the
scientific theory of fusion and the scientific feasibility of nuclear
fusion for power generation as a long-lasting and environmentally
friendly source of energy. JET has a long term software consultant
contract with Datalab International. Datalab has of late been
providing OO designs and implementations for the control of and the
data collection from scientific instruments in a networked environment
under UNIX and VxWorks. This also includes user interface software
for the scientific staff.
IAR Systems. IAR Systems develops
and supplies ANSI C compilers and full software development support
for a large number of microprocessors and micro controllers. IAR
Systems has contracted Datalab International to supply simulators in
software for a number of microprocessors. These simulators are
purpose designed for integration into C-SPY, an advanced C debugger,
that among other things supports handling of processor interrupts and
a rich variety of user data watch points. In particular
Datalab has supplied simulators for the Mitsubishi M16C
(
CSM16C and CWM16C) and the Samsung SAM8
(
CSSAM8 and CWSAM8) microprocessors.
Scanditronix Medical.
Scanditronix develops and sells advanced diagnostic and radiological
instruments for the medical market. Datalab has designed (OO) and
implemented software for an embedded application LTF (=Liquid Target
Fill) for remote control in a radioactively contaminated environment.
