JOHN NETTLES MISSES THE DENTIST!

John Nettles is one of my favourite UK television actors.   His main success was as the Jersey based detective "Bergerac", although his latest project "The Midsummer Murders" (as another telly-detective!), is simply superb.  Like me, he's also a Cornish man, being born and bred in the south coast town of St Austell.

I was chuffed to receive a nice signed black and white picture from this great actor.  In addition, he'd also signed and enclosed the blank card which I include with all my autograph requests.

Hang on a minute... that's not MY card - it's too small!   Upon further investigation, he'd actually signed the back of his Dentist Appointment Card and posted it to me!!  He must have got my card and his, mixed up.

The Dentist Card is current... his next appointment is in June 1998!   Wonder if he'll keep the appointment!?

This is most definitely, the strangest item I've yet to receive from a celebrity!!
