Mark Oldham and Paul Swann have been selected in a squad of 17 to represent the Lancashire & Cheshire League in a game against the Liverpool Old Boys League on Saturday 25th March at the Geoffrey Hughes Memorial Ground (Wyncote), Mather Avenue, Liverpool with a 2.15 p.m. kick off..... Steve Ewing has broken a knuckle on his right hand playing 5-a-side and will be out for at least a week..... Best wishes to Si Dalby's wife Michelle who is recovering from a major operation...... Si Boydell may be unavilable for selection at the start of next season. He's getting married to long term girlfriend Eihblin (pronounced Eileen) in Ireland in September. Congratulations!..... Rick Garrett left us to work in Cheltenham but the club will soon be signing a new player from that area Shaun Partridge, 21, who plays for Bishops Cleeve AFC based in Cheltenham and members of the Hellenic League. He is moving to the Denton area in the summer. Jamie Oldham has decided to rest an injured ankle that he first damaged three months ago and will be out for "several weeks"....Phil Welsh is recovering from his broken leg sustained in a fourth team match against Whalley Range.
