Alex Wharton "Secretary of the Year"

Alex Wharton was named Lancashire & Cheshire League Secretary of the Year at the League's annual presentation dinner at Edgeley Park on May 22nd. The honour is well deserved for all Alex's painstaking work behind the scenes, not least his meticulous record keeping which allows the website to be updated with up-to-the-minute league tables for each team on the morning after matches. The good news didn't end there either. In addition to picking up the First Team's runners-up medals John Bellis scooped the dinner's top raffle prize of £100.
