Adie Campbell.

Hasn't played now for Mellor now for a couple of seasons. He is an ex-first team star with a deceptively relaxed style, he seems to bounce off defenders and still emerge with the ball. Claims he's an excellent goalie but is too valuable outfield to leave between the sticks. Scored one of the greatest ever goals in Mellor's history away to Spurley Hey in 2002-2003 season when he beat five men in a run from inside his own half. Fractured his jaw against Fletcher Moss at the end of 2002-03 season but returned to score a fantastic goal in the Stockport Senior Cup Final in May 2003. Shocked the club by quitting to join Fletcher Moss for the 2003-04 season but rejoined Mellor in December 2003 after his new club nosedived to the relegation zone. They finished bottom of Division Two. Helped to turn the Stockport Senior Cup Final Mellor's way in May 2005 and had a hand in both goals in a 2-0 win. Nickname: Adie. DoB 1.4.77
