Ball playing full-back in the Maldini mould but probably as quick nowdays as Maldini's dad. Rarely beaten though and talks well, as befits a Porsche-driving insurance salesman. Played mainly in the third team in 2003-04 and in the fourths in 2004-05, being part of the squad which reached the Hellawell Shield Final. A keen photographer as you will see if you put the cursor on his picture. Also claims to do more than competent Elvis Costello impressions. Alex Wharton

Joined the club in his mid-30s, played with distinction for the First and Second Teams and won the Player of the Year for the Seconds in 2003-2004 when the side was promoted. He was named League secretary of the year in May 2006. A back injury stalled his playing career. He played in every position for the seconds except up front and including in goal. His preferred positions were right, left or central midfield. He played on after two nasty head wounds in a bruising encounter with Old Trafford in December 2002. A talent scout would have signed him..for a Hammer Horror movie. Organised the club's sponsored 60-mile bike ride in 2000 and 2001. Cultured on and off the park. Ryan Yates

Combative midfielder who can also play up-front and score goals. Has played in the first team but his form and fitness has suffered since he discovered lager. Volunteered to run the newly formed fourth team in 2003-04. He was inspirational, taking them on a 15-game unbeaten run all the way to the final of the Hellawell Shield. Lifted the Philip Hambleton Trophy in May 2004 for his sterling work with the fourth team, his help in building the removable goalposts and also his general dedication to the club.
