objectives include:

Providing significant financial support for equipment in order to improve the quality of life of all Britain's leisure and sports tetraplgics

Developing an active self-help policy which will foster a strong sense of worth and belonging in leisure and sports tetraplegics, and to promote and assist their return to gainful employment, and the achievement of their leisure time aspirations.

Increasing awareness of the risks of leisure and sports induced tetraplegia, with the aim of reducing the number of accidents - which are of enormous cost to the state as well as to the individuals affected and their families - but without in anyway inhibiting the spirit to 'have a go'.
