Cubs

The cubs meet at Gretton Primary School between 6.00 - 7.30 PM on a Monday night. The Cubs is a mixed pack and caters for ages from 8  to  10 1/2. The first meeting after the summer beak will be Monday September 6th.

The Cubs have enjoyed a varied programme this summer, both at the District and Group level. All have had the chance to earn several activity badges, i.e. local historian, athlete, road safety, communicator, naturalist and explorer. We are now looking forward to our autumn programme which as well as our weekly meetings, will include

• canoeing at Irthlingborough
• the District Hike along the bridleways and public footpaths around Gretton
• the County 5 a side football

One of our cubs will be joining the District Group to meet the Chief Scout, George Purdy, what an honour!

The pack always needs helpers, so if anyone has an hour or two a week to spare, then please contact Margaret Ward on 771982.
