DM +36 2219 - Sans Souci

Sans Souci is a cold, heavily glaciated world located on the key trade route from Beta Canum to Pentapod Space. It is home to a mere 12 000 French pioneers and may yet be the site of France's next major colonisation effort.

Sans Souci would require a major terraforming effort to make it habitable to widespread settlement and French governments of all persuasions have balked at the cost. In the meantime the forward looking and outgoing Sans Soucians live up to the name of their world and make a good living as a minor nexus in the cluster's trade routes.
