I am a specialist registrar in General Medicine and Geriatrics currently grinding out my time at the Whittington Hospital in North London.
I have been programming computers ever since my wee days on ZX spectrum (remember those!). It is actually amazing to think that you can play all those games on your humble Series 5. I have owned series 3/3c/5 and have programmed in OPL to some extent on all of them. However time is a bit more of a premium since the birth of my baby daughter.
I think Psion handhelds are ideal as accompaniments to work as a doctor as they help to carry all that extra information that I was forever using and losing during my housedog days. I think an ideal program to help those of us in the medical service should be short, quick and be an aid rather than a burden. However getting there is extremely difficult. I will happily present on this site ANY programs or databases that people have collected as an aid to medicine
