2006 was a good year for the West Cumbria Photo Group. Not having internal competitions it uses external salons to meet it's competitive needs. As a group it came 2nd club in the 2006 Salon Mondial Club ESCH in Luxenborg and 3rd in the Salon International d'art Photographique Macon in France winning the 'Trophee Conseil General'. Over the year the group had 452 salon acceptances with 34 awards.
2007 is proving to be even better, gaining 1st place in the Salon Mondial Club ESCH and the top club outside Scotland in the Scottish Salon winning their gold medal. So far from January to May the group has had 417 salon acceptances with 29 awards and is well placed to do better than it did in 2006. This comes from 21 members who have had acceptances, out of a total membership of 25.

Please will Club Secretaries inform the N.C.P.F. Publicity Officer, Dave Coates, of any changes to their email address to avoid their club missing important information.
Lecturers and Judges should also keep their email information up-to-date.
Email is an excellent way to quickly pass information to clubs and individuals but only works so long as the Publicity Officer is informed of any changes.
