Quality, Safety and Environmental Policy Statement

Highland Journeys is a family run business which specialises in tailor made tours around Scotland. We aim to provide our clients with a friendly, professional service which is environmentally sustainable and socially responsible and, above all safe.

To meet our aspirations Highland Journeys has developed a tailor made Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management System around the following policy commitments:

QHSE policy commitments

ü	HJ will seek to ensure that we meet client expectations at all times;

ü	HJ will seek to prevent injury or ill health to clients and others directly concerned with our activities;

ü	HJ will seek to prevent pollution and minimise any negative environmental impacts associated with our activities;

ü	HJ will seek to ensure the security of clients and others directly concerned with our activities;

ü	HJ will seek to comply with all applicable legislation and other requirements to which we subscribe including the Green Tourism Business Scheme (GTBS) code of conduct; and

ü	HJ will seek to continually improve on our performance via the setting of objectives, targets and programmes for achievement.

To help us achieve our policy commitments we will assist our clients to use products and services in an environmentally and socially responsible way. We expect expect similar environmental and socially responsible standards from all suppliers and contractors.
