About Highland Journeys

Highland Journeys is a family run business specialising in tailor made tours around the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. The business was established by Nicola Fraser in 2000 to provide guests from around the world with a once in a life time experience and an unforgettable visit to our country.

What do we do for you?

Nicola works hard to provide guests with a friendly and professional service. We will work with you to ensure all aspects of your itinerary are planned to guarantee that your visit is a truly memorable one. You decide what you would like to see and we will work with you to develop your itinerary to suit.

What’s to see and do?
On offer, we have fantastic wildlife on land and at sea in some of Northern Europe’s most beautiful and unique environmental settings; ancient castles and monuments; long forgotten civilisations on the mainland and on some of the 600 or so islands that lie around our vast and varied coastline; award winning cuisine which can be found in the most unusual of rural settings or located in some of urban Scotland’s historic Georgian buildings; not to mention the opportunity to sample some of our world class whisky.

Nicola is also a qualified Welcome Host, committed to providing a high quality service. Currently, Nicola is working towards her latest challenge; a Green Tourism Award through the Green Tourism Business Scheme (GTBS).

A bit about your host:
Nicola Fraser was born in Inverness where Highland Journeys is based. Before deciding on a career change to Scottish tourism to show people around this amazing country, Nicola’s career was rooted in Zoology and Environmental Sciences after studying at Aberdeen and Glasgow Universities.
