"When we were thinking about going to Scotland the first time, we thought about doing it ourselves including driving. I figured I can drive on the "WRONG" side of the road, read the maps, find the places we had made reservations; find the historical places of interest…….no problem. Yea right!!!!

Knowing what I know now…….if we would have tried it ourselves, I would have been in 3 wrecks just getting out of the airport; half the time being lost; renting a car; time wasted trying to get where we needed to be; not being able to enjoy the beautiful scenery; contending with those "Pull Overs" (now they are something); one lane roads big enough for a motorcycle; making duplicate reservations because we could not find the original place (of course, we would have paid twice) etc…..etc…..

Without a doubt, we made the right decision in having you as our personal Professional Guide. Further, when you do the maths, it is even more self evident, All things considered.

We can tell you, you made our two trips to your wonderful country so enjoyable, educational, relaxing and words that cannot express to you what you did for us. Just outstanding! You introduced us to so many nice people. Your style made us feel so much a part of your country. It was as if we have known you for life. You took us to places that we would have never seen if we tried to do it ourselves and doubt we would have seen with other touring professionals. I know one thing for sure….you cannot take a bus to those places!!

As we indicated to you on our first trip……we must have had telephone conversations, email contacts etc. with at least 20 firms that do what you do. For me not being a world traveler this was very time consuming. It was an awesome task to pick the right one.

Your down-to-earth answers to our questions, your frankness, your being so unassuming made our decision very easy. I have told my friends, that if they are thinking about touring Scotland, save yourself a lot of time and trouble, just call Nicole at Highland Journeys.
