Big Mac's Maudlers extended their lead at the top of the table to 7 points but will have been disappointed not to have made more of the fact that key rival The Reapers played the weekend with only one striker and in total 5 players missing.

Indeed on Sunday night it looked like The Maudlers might have a lead of nearly twenty points but a brace of goals from in form midfielder Carbone meant the Reapers kept the Maudlers firmly within their sights.

But it was another great week for The Mainstreet Boys who are hitting form again having struggled before Christmas. And they really look like the only team, which can challenge the top two. The Chopstix again suffered further humiliation with another poor weekend and last seasons winners appear to be on the canvas with the count at 9. Those 3 transfers look like the last throw of the dice.

We are now into the final third of the season and games will begin to come thick and fast. Missing players will be key as injuries and suspensions take their toll. With only two matches this weekend The Maudlers and Reapers have the busiest players. The Mainstreet Boys will be waiting for any slip up.

There has been a reconciliation of the scores this week and it was discovered that two players: Lomas from Phillips were both missing 2 points omitted from the Christmas period. These have been therefore added to this weeks score.
