The ten farms provide excellent case-studies for GCSE research/homework projects. The information is well written/presented and regularly up-dated.

Food & Farming Education ServiceA University of Oklahoma site which deals with all the breeds of a wide range of farm animals - a useful site for projects/homeworks with lots of written information plus photos and statistics.
International Rice Research Institute [IRRI]A famous organisation that pioneered the research work which led to the Green Revolution of the 1960's and 1970's. The organisation is still going strong and now on the WWW. The site literally contains everything you could wish to know about rice and rice growing. An excellent site.
