Description Rhizome: creeping, subterete, covered with scales.

Leaves: solitary to ca. 50 cm; cataphylls undescribed; petiole [absent?]; lamina green with yellowish white markings, oblanceolate-oblong, 30 - 50 cm long x 4.5 - 6.5 cm wide, margin sparsely denticulate.

Scape: 0.5 - 2.5 cm long; flowers solitary.

Perianth [Perigone]: globular-urceolate, pale yellow; tube ca. 8 mm long [see note] x 8 mm diameter; lobes 6 - 8, incurved, ovate, ca. 3 mm long x 2 mm wide, with 2 keels adaxially, keels fleshy, papillose at base.

Stamens: 6 - 8, inserted at middle of perianth tube; anthers long elliptic, ca. 3 x 1.8 mm.

Pistil: table-shaped; style basally columnar (ca. 3 mm long) developed at the top into a 4-lobed peltate, orbicular stigma, ca. 6 mm diameter, the adaxial surface (stigmatic surface) convex, the lobes deeply emarginate resulting in 8 marginal lobes; ovary undescribed.

Fruit: undescribed.

Phenology: flowers in September.
