Description Rhizome: creeping, terete.

Leaves: undescribed save for drawing below, without scale.

Peduncle: erect, purple with few long pale, purple speckled bracts; flowers solitary.

Perianth [Perigone]: campanulate; tube pale speckled with purple outside, dark purple inside, smooth, lobes 8, erect, speckled with purple but shading to pale tips.

Stamens: 8 (- 10) positioned at bottom third of tube, anthers undescribed.

Pistil: columnar; purple, style ± cylindric, widening gradually to stigma level and becoming 4-ridged to a cross-shaped stigma, diameter 2 mm; ovary inconspicuous.

Fruit: undescribed.

Phenology: undescribed.
