I
think this taxon cannot be linked to an extant plant. Champion gives as a synonym
(via Musa cavendishii) Musa (AAA group) 'Nain'. However, the Musa
cavendishii synonymy implies more specifically Musa (AAA group) 'Dwarf
Cavendish'. The Musa acuminata synonymy cannot I think be substantiated.
The entity represented by Musa chinensis may be derived from Musa acuminata
but it is not that species. See discussion under Musa
