Synonyms Musa martinii (but not valid).
Authorities The accepted name from Argent 1984 and Huxley 1992. 

The synonym, which is not a valid one (see discussion at Musa martinii) is from RHS 1956.

Comments C. Thiébaut’s name is misprinted Thibaut in Argent.

The author 'Keteleer' is not included in Brummit & Powell 1992 nor picked up by the Authors search engine at Mobot.  He is J. B. Keteleer the French nurseryman after whom the conifer genus Keteleeria was named by É. A. Carrière.
