Comments According to Reynolds this is cv 'Lady Finger'.   Reynolds says the fruit is very sweet and implies non-acidity.  The accepted name is therefore more probably Musa (AA group) (e.g. 'Sucrier') and not Musa (AB group) (e.g. 'Ney Poovan').  Stover & Simmonds 1987 point out that the name ‘Lady Finger’ has been applied to cultivars of both groups.
