Mobot
Tropicos give the name as Musa simiarum Kurz and cite a reference in J. Agr.
Hort. Soc. Ind. 14: 297 (1867), Cheesman 1947b, also mentions this reference. I have
not yet checked this. It may be that Mobot disregard Rumphius because he is
pre-Linnean and thus cite Kurz as the first post-Linnean author of the name. |
