Section Distribution Réunion & Mauritius. Description References Champion 1967: 41, Horaninow 1862, Reynolds 1927. Comments Reynolds says that the fruit is of little value, and gives it the name 'figue mignonne'. Although Mauritius was an important stopping off place for Musa collected in the Far East it has no native species. The same applies to Réunion.
