EXERCISE TO SPIN THE CHAKRAS

This exercise assists you to spin and balance your chakras, Each of our main chakras has a colour associated with it.  In addition, each chakra should be spinning in a particular direction, both front and back. The easiest way that I  have found to determine which way my chakras should be spinning is to do the following:

Hold your right hand out, stick out your thumb and curl your other four fingers against your palm (like  a hitch-hiker). 
When you point your right  thumb with  your fingers curled toward the centre of  a chakra, imagine that the chakra  is spinning  in the direction your  fingers are  curled. For example, to check the correct spin for your root chakra, hold your right hand between your legs with your thumb pointing up and look at the  direction of  your curled  fingers. Notice that the direction of spin on the front  of a chakra is the opposite of the direction of spin on the back of a chakra.

As you do this exercise, notice which chakra colours are hard to visualise, or which chakras  seem stuck,  spinning in  the wrong direction, or not  spinning in  a round circle. Also notice which chakras are already balanced. This may give you some clues as to where you need to focus your personal healing exploration and work. You can "command" your chakras to spin at the correct  speed, in  the  correct  shape,  at  the correct  frequency, in  the correct direction. Do not struggle or make too much effort with this exercise.
Continue with each of the  following steps until the chakra feels balanced and spinning, and you can visualise the colours  clearly. You  may notice that your energy and awareness moves up to the next chakra when the one you are working on is complete.

Begin this exercise by connecting to the earth, as  described in the previous sections 


1. As you breathe in, imagine you are breathing red energy up your legs and into your root chakra. Also allow your breath to bring in red energy from the air. At the same time, spin your chakra in the correct direction. With each new breath, allow more red energy to move up your legs to fill and balance your root chakra. Continue to breathe red energy until it feels balanced.

2. With your next breath move your awareness up to your second chakra. Allow the red energy from your root chakra to move up and into orange energy in your second chakra. Visualise the correct spin for both the front and the back of your second chakra. With each new breath, feel the earth energy move up your legs, into red for your first chakra and orange for your second chakra, and allow orange energy to come in from the air. Continue to breathe orange into your second chakra until feels balanced.

3. With your next breath, move your awareness up to your third chakra. Allow the red energy in your root chakra and the orange energy in your second chakra to move up into yellow energy in your third chakra. Visualise the correct spin for both the front and back of the third chakra. With each new breath, feel the earth energy move up your legs, into red for your first, orange for your second, and yellow for your third chakra and allow yellow energy to come in from the air. Continue to breathe yellow into your third chakra until it feels balanced.

4. With your next breath, move your awareness up to your fourth chakra. Allow the red energy in your root chakra, the orange energy in your second chakra and the yellow energy in your third chakra to move up into green energy in your fourth chakra. Visualise the correct spin for both the front and back of the fourth chakra. With each new breath, feel the earth energy move up your legs, into red for your first, orange for your second, yellow for your third and green for your fourth chakra, and allow green energy to come in from the air. Continue to breathe green into your fourth chakra until it feels balanced.

5. With your next breath, move your awareness up to your fifth chakra. Allow the red energy in your root chakra, the orange energy in your second chakra, the yellow energy in your third chakra and the green energy in your fourth chakra to move up into blue energy in your fifth chakra. Visualise the correct spin for both the front and back of the fifth chakra. With each new breath, feel the earth energy move up your legs, into red for your first, orange for your second, yellow for your third, green for your fourth, and allow blue energy to come in from the air. Continue to breathe blue into your fifth chakra until it feels balanced.

6. With your next breath, move your awareness up to your sixth chakra. Allow the red energy in your root chakra, the orange energy in your second chakra, the yellow energy in your third chakra, the green energy in your fourth chakra and the blue energy in your fifth chakra to move up into indigo energy in your sixth chakra. Visualise the correct spin for both the front and back of the sixth chakra. With each new breath, feel the earth energy move up your legs, into red for your first, orange for your second, yellow for your third, green for your fourth, blue for your fifth and allow indigo energy to come in from the air. Continue to breathe indigo into your sixth chakra until it feels balanced.

7. With your next breath, move your awareness up to your seventh chakra. Allow the red energy in your root chakra, the orange energy in your second chakra, the yellow energy in your third chakra, the green energy in your fourth chakra, the blue energy in your fifth chakra and the indigo energy in your sixth chakra to move up into violet energy in your seventh chakra.

Visualise the correct spin for both the front and back of the seventh chakra. With each new breath, feel the earth energy move up your legs, into red for your first, orange for our second, yellow for your third, green for your fourth, blue for your fifth, indigo for your sixth, and allow violet energy to come in from the air. Continue to breathe violet into your seventh chakra until it feels balanced.

Continue balancing the chakras in this way up to the twelfth chakra. The colours for the other Chakras are as follows:

Eighth chakra: Emerald green and purple.

Ninth chakra: Blue green.

Tenth chakra: Pearlesence.

Eleventh chakra: Pink orange.

Twelfth chakra: Shimmering gold.
