Regelated by the end of the season, but despite this Stoke started the new season well. Everyone knew it wouldn't last - but while it did there was a sense of happiness - replaced later by depression.

This was a lucky picture, taken early in the season, I was snapping people in the crowd when Stoke scored - spinning around I found the players right in front of me. While there are other pictures of the players - this was the only one taken with my 28mm. I like it because of the space - something that illustrates the ground perfectly.

Printing this was a dream, it took 10 mins to finish - just burning the pitch slightly and a 1/3 more exposure on the sky - I got it right first time and this scan was directly from that first print.
