He has conducted research for his Masters Degree at Reddish Vale School, (in the area of emotional & behavioural disorders), which lead to his involvement in this local schools project.
Richard performed the literature search that was incorporated into the projects web page. This covers a wide and diverse collection of child disorder, assessment and intervention techniques that can be used or applied with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. However only the tip of the ice berg, in this vast area of research and publication, could be covered for inclusion on the web page. For further reading he recommends the bibliography lists included.
He is currently seeking employment involving experience of applied behavioural techniques in either an educational or clinical situation. This is in order to qualify for training as either an Educational Psychologist or a Clinical Psychologist working in the area of learning difficulties.
