Personal DetailsI originally trained as a dental surgeon, winning a number of academic prizes during my degree course at Newcastle upon Tyne. In 1984, having been a general dental practitioner in various practices in south east England, disillusionment set in. I decided slaving over a hot keyboard would offer a less stressful and far more satisfying way of making a living. Since then writing has been a full time occupation. I have produced work for a wide range of "blue chip" companies, publishers and medical bodies. My writing activities fall into the four main areas in the navigation bar above.
