EDGES MAGAZINE

OCTOBER 1997

A READER SHARES HIS VIEWS...

I have been reading “Edges” magazine, which I pick up in the Church of St. Theresa’s Sandfield in Port Talbot.

At first I thought it was like “The Issue” magazine than as I read it I began to like what I read. It was the sharing of their experiences’ I liked and the more I read I became interested. Every one of those who shared were different.

The common bond was homelessness, not alcoholism or drugs or anything else which people are prone to getting.

I am a recovering alcoholic, 26 years on the AA Programme and still sober “Thank God”.

I am at present a Group Leader of Recovery Incorporated, an organisation that tries to help people suffering with nervous symptoms of all kinds.

Recovery Incorporated is all I have to give you. It may be valuable in the future for others who want Mental Health.

Patrick McGinley.
