Building a
Better Future

Christian
Christian started drinking when he was 16. It created a problem for him. He enjoyed getting drunk, he couldn't get enough of it. However, as time went on he came to realise that people were not amused by what he did. It interfered with his relationships and it made him often feel depressed and isolated

However, now at the age of 21 he is overcoming his problem. He has already completed a three-month Prince's Trust course helping him discover life skills and communication skills. At last he has found a job with a coachbuilders' company. He is now building a new life and is leaving the past behind him. He hasn't drunk for several months and would like to thank St. Anne's House, the home of Edges, for giving him support, helping him overcome his problems.

HOMELESS & LOVE
Amanda and Mick have been together for some time and frequently visit our centre. They have first hand experience of homelessness and have lived in hostels. At present they are preparing to move into a flat. They have fallen in love and give each other a great deal of support. Amanda & Mick
