ON THE RUN FROM THE DRUG DEALER Edges Magazine recently caught up with Andy, not his real name
Fugitive from the drug dealer At about half past six in the morning two lads knocked at my door. I answered the door, and one of the lads had a gun. Erm, they told me to get dressed, and they took me out of the flat at gun point. They smacked me about the head with the gun, they were going to take me up to the beacon, which is a country park up in Skelmersdale. They took me for a walk, and there were some women walking a dog, so they told me to walk, so while I was walking ahead this women was there so they couldn't do anything , so I ran. I jumped over these back gardens, one of the lads ran after me, the one with the gun, I don't know where he went.

I jumped over these back gardens and started banging on some doors, for them to phone the police. The lad that chased me panicked, he ran off, no on would answer the doors, so I went down to Skelmersdale police station, and was interviewed by CID. They came around in an armed response vehicle to the house where one of these lads lived, and blocked off the road. They found the gun, so they got him, but the other lad is still on the run. I have now moved on and I am now homeless.

At the moment I'm on Heroin and I'm on a £20-a-day habit
