We
congratulate Ryan he is now one year clean of drugs.
He came to our Reconcile Project last year addicted to heroin
and he was also homeless. We provided him with a place of safety,
helping him create an action plan for his future and preparing him
for rehabilitation. We managed to place Ryan in a Rehab Unit. One
year on, he is clean of drugs and is building a new life. We thank
Edges readers for supporting him in those early days.
Luke has just joined our new Mentoring Project. He has
just come out of prison. While in Lancaster Farms Young Offenders
Institution, he showed lots of motivation. Our new project is giving
him support in the community. We have just opened a new house for
people like Luke who want to change their ways. |
David
has proved he can do it. Thanks to an Edges reader we
have been able to place him down in the South West. David has
struggled with a heroin addiction for many years. We have walked
with him through difficult times. Last year, due to drugs, he was
attacked and could have easily lost his life. We were there to
support him. It has been a hard journey. However, we managed
eventually to get David ready for a Rehabilitation Unit. He spent a
short time in a unit but then he was asked to leave. He came back to
our project homeless but clean of drugs. We were able to place David
with an Edges Reader 300 miles from our project here in Blackburn.
He has now been clean from drugs for several months and is no longer
homeless. He thanks Edges Readers for supporting him. |
