THIS PROJECT IS FANTASTIC
Hi my name is Ste Murphy, this is the second time I have featured in EDGES. The first time was 13 months ago. I am from Liverpool and I came to the T.H.O.M.A.S. project because of a drink problem. I have been drinking heavily for ten years. I did 3 months clean in the project and then I decided to go back to Liverpool because I still had a flat there I thought that I had overcome my I problem but within 2 weeks of being back home , being with the same company I was back to square one.

My tolerance level went through the roof. I got back to the same old routine and was feeling down. I lost all the confidence I had gained.

I was too ashamed to phone T.H.O.M.A.S. back up, it took almost 8 months. They where so understanding I asked about coming back on the project. I have been back on the project for 7 weeks feeling good within myself. I have given up my flat in Liverpool and hopefully doing phase 2 of the project.

I now take each day as it comes, hopefully getting back to work or college. I intend to stay in Blackburn and start a new life here.
