  ATTACKED BY THUGS

Craig is Homeless. He visits our Drop –in-Centre.

I was attacked about twelve months ago. I was minding my own business. A group of lads thought I was someone else. I took quite a few blows to the head. I ended up in hospital. I ended up getting panic attacks and I was thrown out of the hospital. I fell out with my parents and it’s been downhill from there.

Twelve months ago everything was going fine. I was working and I had a good social life. I was eating well and clean. From being a working, sociable person I went to being on the streets. I mostly blame the hospital for throwing me out in the middle of the night.

I have started to suffer depression in the last twelve months. It’s now a daily routine. I did have a bout of it about two years ago when I lost my dad. I got over that and picked myself up. Things started going wrong again twelve months ago.
