I may not be very good comapny, as I have much that I am preoccupied about, but I am grateful for your invitation." She brought her plate over to their table and cocked her head, as if a sudden thought had struck her- "M'Lady, M'Lord, you both seem to be regulars here- can you tell me, do dinner and breakfast come with the price of a room?" Mea looked surprised, and answered, "To my knowledge, this has never been the way- Elfiran, the tavern owner, is penny pinching because he has a high overhead." She smirked knowingly, and Raven grinned, picking up the subtle joke, before turning a frown on Ed, over behind the bar. Ed happened to look up at this point, saw the frown, and blanched, guessing at its meaning. Oh well, he thought, he knew Elfiran would have his hide when he found out, but it was for a good cause. At being addessed as "m'lord", Zarth's head had come up a little, and now he smiled, tentatively, at Raven, who returned it with a good-natured wink. This fellow seemed to have some severe self-esteem problems when it came to women and his apparent speech impediment. She'd have to ask later if he wanted help getting rid of that- her education had been among the best in Tamriel, and she knew how to train speech difficulties out of a person- she had had the problem of tripping over her own toungue when she was young- nothing she wanted to say had come out right, and her parents had managed to train it out of her. "I am Raven Hawke, Lady of Gavaudon. May I ask your names?" Raven (who doesn't go by the title on the road or with friends- and actually isn't much of a proper Lady at all ;)
