From: Wed 16:11 Subject: [Dagger] [PORC] Divine ProtectionTo: "Daggerlist" Sollar stood, only winded from his unexpected flight. He watched with horror as the new monstrosity conjured dozens of undead that, if they wished, could easily take out Mea. Silently and unseen by all save the Fist, he knelt. In his mind he reached out across dimensions to Geddon and was greeted by the Great Lord of War. The God’s voice spoke in his mind. "Dreadmaster, dost thou have a problem?" "Great Lord," replied the Dreadmaster in his mind. "These invaders seem to have a goddess assisting them." "What wouldst thou have me do?" "Bestow on us your protection, so that the tricks of this invader do not affect us, for I know that nothing could pierce your divine armouring." "It is done, Dreadmaster. Now, return to your Fist. They are recovered." "Thankyou, Great Lord." Thispan Sollar stood and looked at the Fist. They were all standing proudly with green Orcish blades drawn. He saw a silvery glisten on every Dreadknights’ armour, the symbol that the Great Lord’s protection was upon them, and knew that the effect could also be seen on his own. He sent out a mental command to the Fist via his telepathy. "Dreadknights! Engage the Undead! Phalanx twenty deep then break off and choose targets." Every Dreadknight saluted and walked swiftly and smoothly into formation. They marched towards Mea perfectly in step and formation. They were a terrifying sight. The Dreadmaster walked towards the other members of the party, his magic creating a healing aura around him that restored all of them to full health. They all stood, seemingly unharmed instead of recently healed. Mea seemed relieved that the Dreadknights were heading towards her and the bodyguard Zarth had a look of unremitting anger on his face. Raven looked curious as his spell affected her – he could tell that she would be asking how it worked later – and the paladin Taganath looked on with quiet determination. Sollar walked towards the weeping Tamislane. It was impolite to start a battle without first discussing terms of combat. ---------------------------------------------------------------------
