"THIS HAS GONE FAR ENOUGH" I shouted.  "Someone needs to teach this
Goddess some humility" I thought to myself.  Taking Light Bringer in
both hands I reversed the blade, pointing it towards the damp earth and
thrust the sword down with all my might and cried out "Master, lend me
your strength."  A huge white barrier of solid force appeared in front
of me, centred around Light Bringer, tendrils of lightning flickering on
its smooth surface.  I stepped through the portal and as I did my
physical form melted from me and when I appeared on the other side  I
appeared as a humanoid figure made entirely of raw energy, glowing with
an intense white light.  I pointed the palm of my right hand at Kali and
a beam of pure energy shot forth, knocking the goddess backwards.  I
brought my palm down and the beam vanished leaving a deep wound on the
startled goddess' chest.  I turned round and said to my startled
companions "Deal with Jemalas and the woman who accompanies him is, I
shall deal with Kali"  I readied another blast of power as the Dread
Armies finished destroying the undead.
