Coming to the City gates, I noticed that two of the guards where old adventuring companions, I waved at them and promised to catch up on old times when possible, they let me through saying that HRH Queen Aubk-i was expecting us for morning tea. After we past the market and we got near to the city center, I showed the company, the large Mage's guild, even if I say so myself is very Impressive, pointing a hand north east, I said " and there you can see the Palace of Sentinel" when to my surprise, Jemalas al of a sudden kicked his horse and galloped of at such a rate that sparks where flying of the hoofs of his equine noble. Using farsight, I followed his rapid departure, saw him reigning in his horse jump off and taking another good look, I was astounded to see him walking up the walls of the Palace, I had to grin as I'm sure Jemmy must have heard the tales of climbing the " Spire " but my grin disappeared quickly enough when I realized today was not a holiday in Sentinel and the local city guard, well they sorta frown at people taking liberties with their Palace. Leading my horse into a trot, I made my way to the palace as there was quite a crowd gathering, among them the Captain of the guard, with a sour look on his face, as if to say " bloomin tourist again" I rode towards the Captain, sliding of the saddle and getting a few lecherous looks from him, I recognized the man, he had been in this job for many years and every time a promotion came up, it passed him by, that, and the fact that he had seven kids, didn't do anything for his look at life. I put on my best smile and said " excuse me, my good sir, I like to apologize for my friend's behavior but he is from err ... ... ... out of town and didn't know about the restrictions for climbing the walls. I don't know if my charm did any good, cause I got a mouth full of legalese, heading this, paragraph that and sub-paragraph so and so, I smiled wanly at this tirade, when out of the blue the Captain said " Oh, pardon me Lady Mea, I didn't recognize you out if your armor, but I've just been informed by the Queen that I should stop irritating you and get your horses stabled" by now the mans face was a brighter shade of puce and I readily agreed, the crowd all at once went "OOOOOHHH, look at the idiot, I told you he would fall". Now this got my full attention as I saw Jemalas coming down, once again, in a hurry from the sky, I saw him snag his leg on one of the lower spires and then eventually end up with a huge splash in the Royal pond, getting all nearby, well, soaked through to the skin, Adeline and Catris looked like they could kill Jemmy, as their hair hung down in wet streaks along their faces, personally I was no better of, so I scowled at Jemalas greatly, understanding the trouble the two ladies went through to have their hair done nicely, and now I had to apologize to Aubk-i too, for Jemalas's pranks, ( I could hear whispers in the crowd asking if that guy was the new court jester ) and ask for some time to tidy up our rather drenched appearance. When Lord Jemalas Tamislane of Thornwood, Ruler of Kalisis, finally climbed out of the pond, I sternly told him, " Jemalas we are about to enter one of the greatest Palaces in Tamriel, to have morning tea with a Queen, do you think it is at all possible to behave like the Gentleman you are suppose to be, or else I will ask you to return to my ship, where you can than help with the carpenters fixing the ship " I then turned around, motioned to the rest of the company to follow, seeing in my peripheral vision that the "good" Captain was having some doubts about stabling Midnight, but frankly I had enough of Jemalas's troubles and continued on towards the Palace doors which where now opening.
