Subject: [Dagger] [PORC]An apologetic Sidhe gets what's coming. I told Catris and Mea to lay a hand on him, as the empathic horse had certain powers. A flash of heat ran over the crowd and dried everyone I had soaked with my fun, though immature, prank. Adeline started to walk toward me, and I started to give an apology, but I was stopped short by a flick of her arm and the sudden appearance of a rosy handprint on my cheek. After which, she walked in and followed Mea. Catris came over, caught me under one arm, and pressed a swath of cloth to my bleeding leg. I smiled and brushed her cheek with a swift kiss. She thought it rather funny, it seemed. She helped me limp up the steps and into the doors. We went up a short ramp and I saw the outer reception chamber. I glanced around, awe-struck by the beauty of the hangings. They must be truly ancient, as they were made of the gold and silver wire made only by the dwarven smiths. My leg had stopped bleeding, but was still very painful to walk on. "A fitting desert for stupidity." I mused to myself. As soon as one of the knights manning the chamber saw me, I heard that immortal knight phrase, "Halt! Halt!" I smiled, thinking that them saying something so idiotic was only a myth. I was broken from my reverie by an orcish mace slamming into my back. I fell to the ground, my shield making a loud clatter. "Do you yield?" asked one of the guards standing over me. "How can I? I never started a duel with any of you." I muttered. I saw Catris' face blanch as she looked around for our companions. "Say aye or I will crush your skull, you freak." the same guard spoke. "Aye, I yield. On what basis do you call me a freak?" I answered. "Only an off-world idiot such as yourself would climb the spire without featherfall or levitation." the guard said as I was dragged through the castle, stripped of my shield and longsword. They dragged me into a small, lightless chamber. I was stripped of my enchanted boots and my tunic there. I was cuffed into chains and left to hang, unable to sit down with the weights pulling at my arms. Several thoughts went through my mind. First and foremost "Is Catris okay?!?", but at a close second, "What will Mea do when she finds out this one? What cruel punishment will the she cook up for me on this one?" I heard heavy boots accompanied by light, dainty footsteps. I realized my companions were coming. All my other thoughts were swept aside. Now the only thing I thought of was, "Oh s**t. Mea is really going to be pissed now." I closed my eyes, wanting to crawl inside my skin. I heard the heavy clunk of the iron lock, then a creak as the swollen door squealed in its hinges.
