Subject: [porc] The tour marches on. Date: Wed, 22 Jul 1998 00:14:31 -0800 From: jdavis109@juno.com (JAMES R DAVIS) To: dagrfall@ods.com Waking up groggily the next morning, the cold of the night seeping into my three-thousand year old bones, I groaned and complained as I rose. Catris was much better from the night before, and she warmed me with a mere brush our lips. I felt a thick blade prod my ribs and I looked up to see Adeline poking me with her sword, checking if I were awake. I pushed the blade away and looked to Mea. "Would it be okay if I lead for a while? If any more of the goons from the SLE come along, they will be after me, and they will see you and Zarth as expendable." She nodded in reply. After burying the remains of our fire and the camp soils, we began marching on to Sentinel. Aside from a disgruntled grizzly bear, the trip was uneventful till we hit the Iliac Bay, where we were to take a ship to Sentinel city. Arguing with the captain, Adeline's true nature was revealed as her face twisted into a grotesque mask, forged of the stuff of nightmares. The captain drew his sword, a fine ebony saber, and prodded Adeline's armor. She growled and snapped the blade as if it were no more than a mere stick. Mea and Zarth were shocked at my cousin's incredible strength.
