Subject: [Dagger] [Porc] Krystalas holds her cool. I teleported on deck and then slammed my head, forgetting that I was trying to hide my full powers. Krystalas stood, toe to toe with Mea, her ice-blue eyes glistening purple as she called up the power of Kali. "Stay your hand apprentice!" I commanded, as the ladies had not seemed to notice my sudden intrusion. "Mea," I barked, "Why are you yelling at her?" "How did she get on my ship?!? We are in the middle of the Iliac Bay! This reeks of Soverian magic!" Mea growled, not at all pleased with my tone, but I sensed there was something more to her anger toward Krystalas and I. "Yes...." I thought quickly, fabricating a story to hide the means of her arrival, "she was sent by an item held by Kali herself. She was sent to be my apprentice." I smiled inwardly, for as backward as the Tamrillian gods are, they would never gift their people with the common sense to see through my lies. Mea was skeptical, then a light of inspiration smoothed over her eyes. I tried to pierce her mind to plant the suggestion that we were right, but that damn sword of her's got in the way, throwing waves of mental static at Krystalas and I. As a last resort, I fingered the obsidian ring in my pocket, wondering if I should change. "Mea, I have a confession." The words were barely off my lips before Mea's eyes lit up with the fires of anger. "I have more power than I let on. I have an example right here," I said, holding the Dark Angel ring. I slid the ring onto my finger and whispered the words of power to trigger the ring. Sacre Noir came quickly to Mea's hand once my transformation was complete. Mea dropped into a defensive stance, saying, "What manner of being are you?!?" Krystalas took initiative and told Mea of how the Dark Angel was a power of mercy on Kalisis. He took food, money, healing, and toys to the poor. Mea's sword finally found its sheath again, and a warm smile came across her face. I held out a hand, poised in the ancient symbol for fellowship on Sovere, and waited. Krystalas' thin hand went beneath mine. I waited, wondering if Mea would accept my fellowship........ ~Lord Jemalas Tamislane, Master Dweomerkeeper, Ruler of Kalisis, High Lord of Thornwood jrdavis@penn.com ICQ- 16848203
