Ramblings of a Caitiff
By Mellissa

Hmm.
I've been asked, very nicely, I might add, to write a series of disjointed ramblings about whatever comes to mind.
Well, I have to admit that I am loath to commit myself with written words, but who am I to argue?
"What would you want my opinion for?" I asked. You have to admit that it's not often that a Caitiff is asked anything much, least of all her opinion on anything.
I'm assured that this will be "fun". Who by is completely irrelevant. Very well. I shall do my best.
Various people are worthy of comment, but I think I shall begin with my own thoughts on those on the, err, "Top Ten List", easily found elsewhere on this server.

Devon Le Grass strikes me as as lovely chap. He knows who and what he is, and he's not afraid of anything. He makes no pretence. I'm sure everyone feels that to ruffle his feathers would be an incredibly stupid move - yet I do not recall seeing him act violently. Certainly he acts with violence, but do not confuse the two. Yet we are all wary of him, are we not? We are all so sure that, were we to cross him, we would find ourselves at the business end of a sharp object.
He projects himself well.

Saville Gwynn is a lovely fellow. He strikes you as a gruff, ignorant, and somewhat autocratic character, but once you get to know him, he really is a diamond. He too knows exactly who he is, and is not swayed by rumour, only by solid fact.

Leona Sirius...
I really couldn't say... I personally cannot trust her an inch, but that is only my humble opinion.

Madeline is a queer fish, really she is. She's completely loyal to her clan, which I suppose is a good thing, from both her and their point of view. Problem is that nobody likes her clan, and, after what they've put both myself and a few other people through, I can't say I'm terribly surprised. After what they did to... Well, I'd rather not dwell on that, thankyou.

Harry Keogh really doesn't deserve to be on this list. He's a happy-go-lucky chap who gets on well with everyone, but has allowed circumstances to overtake him. He's as much as a victim as anyone else in Hatfield, maybe more so.
I do not think that he's very stable, though. I've heard some curious rumours about him which warrant care. Well, care on my behalf, anyway. You are free to do as you wish.

Maximillian Ottoman is a mixed bag of goodies. He likes killing people, that's for sure, and I'm not entirely certain whether or not he needs much provocation. I also think that maybe he's a little uncertain of what he wants out of his unlife. He needs to pull himself together before he explodes, and no-one can help him do that.
I hope he manages. I still owe him.

Mellissa Campbell. So I am on this list? I can't say I'm remotely surprised. In fact, I think there's a small, somewhat perverse corner of my psyche that's proud of that fact. Well, it would be useless for me to give you my opinion of myself, wouldn't it? Opinion. Hmmph. So I'm entitled to an opinion...
Strange. I've been bestowed with more accord than normally befits one of my status. Maybe someone should stop and think "Why is she different"?

Rueben is a rather interesting fellow who, upon introducing himself to the Prince, quite menacingly informed us (us being Vincent and Myself) that he was here to search for the other members of his clan, the Nosferatu, whom had disappeared. This fact worries me immensley. Consider how close the Nosferatu keep their ears to the ground... Yet they do not know the whereabouts of their comrades? Something is amiss here, whether it be with the missing Kindred or with Ruben. He, at that time, was not affiliated with Casper in any way. He's hardly been seen since.

Casubon intrigues me.
More I cannot say. Well, that is a lie. More I will not say.

Taron Carter? I do not recall much of this chap, as I only arrived in the area a few months ago. However, it is perfectly feasible that he could have spent the passing months in torpor, and only recently resurfaced. How does this make him suspicious?
Maybe because no-one seems to know his true motives?
I couldn't say, really I couldn't.

So there you have it. Take it or leave it, those are the few scribblings that are considered worthy of transcription. Maybe you have your own opinions, maybe you disagree with mine. Maybe you don't think I'm quite telling you everything I think.
Well, I must admit. To bare my thoughts for all to pick apart like vultures squabbling over carrion would be just a little pointless, would it not? So pick away. Choose your reality.
But don't let anyone else's reality choose you.
