SHOUT ABOUT IT

August 4th, 2004

Bally Rotters Records today at last revealed the name of the much-anticipated 12th studio album by Fawcett / Poustie. After much deliberation and theme-seeking the band has decided to use the title of a Fawcett-penned funk song, "Shout About It". Recording work on the album was completed on Sunday August 1st at Cooper's Court studios in Hertfordshire.

F/P joined by Harv Flood - taking a breather from after a few hours of hot and steamy sax.

The picture above was taken on 25th July at the Coach House, Cheshire, where F/P worked with veteran sax-man Richard "Harvey" Flood, who laid down his inimitable sax tracks on 3 songs as well as reprising his tin whistle performance, last heard on Just A Little Bit, on another song.

Bally Rotter Records have set a provisional release date of August 23rd for Shout About It, but you don't have to wait that long to get a taste of the new album as the first single from the album, Down To Harlem, will be released on Monday 9th August and available for download from Amazon.com !
