August 30th, 2004

FP today release their 12th studio album, Heading For The Bright Lights, an album recorded over the course of 4 months in 3 separate locations. All Fawcett's parts were recorded at his Cooper's Court home studio in Hertfordshire, whilst Poustie's parts on his own tracks were recorded at Studio P in Thailand. Harv Flood's Saxophone parts were recorded at the band's Official HQ, The Coach House, and Poustie recorded his keyboard parts on Nick's songs at Cooper's Court at the end of July.

HEADING FOR THE BRIGHT LIGHTS -----ahhhhhhhhhhhh ! click album art to go to the HFTBL page.

As usual the album is Produced, mixed and mastered by Fawcett Poustie - but for the first time in FP's 15+ year career the album features a cover version, Cheap Trick's Standing on The Edge.

A full review of the album will appear here in the next few days, and if you haven't bought yourself a copy yet, you can check out the first single from the album, Down To Harlem, by following the link to amazon.com from HERE.

The album, released on the band's own Bally Rotter Records label features 12 new songs with a running time of just under 1 hour. Those who have already heard it are already proclaiming it the band's greatest work to date and quite probably the greatest album ever recorded ! Look out !!
