Release Republic of Love

Press Release: FP International and Bally Rotter Records today announce the September 4 release of Republic of Love the much anticipated 13th studio album from Fawcett/Poustie.

Featuring 10 all new songs with a total running time of 49 minutes the album was recorded at various studios including the band’s legendary Coach House studios in Cheshire, Fawcett’s London Road Studio's in Warwickshire, Poustie’s Studio P in Thailand, as well as Cooper’s Court in Herftordshire.

 As usual the album is Produced, mixed and mastered by Fawcett/Poustie and features Nick Fawcett (guitar/vocals), Chris Poustie (piano/vocals) and Harv Flood (saxophone).

The main recording sessions for the album took place from July 17-21 2006. The cover art (Left) was shot in Warwick July 30.

The band have issued the following statement; “We are extremely proud of this record and feel we have made our strongest album to date. It’s got an infectious good-time rocking vibe that captures both the energy of some of our earlier records as well as the groovier and slicker elements of our more recent works. Get ready to start building the republic !”
