For Carers

Training is essential for appropriate use of multi-sensory rooms.  Training workshops are held on a regular basis.  These can be tailor made for different establishments.  Our standard is a morning workshop, training costs  £20 per person.                                                                                         

The aims of the workshop are :

• To enable participants to develop and extend ways of working in Multi Sensory Rooms

• To experience and be aware of the effects of light and sound and the use of these to create different moods

• To be able to use equipment competently and appropriately

• To enable participants to assess, plan and record sessions

• To share ideas and form good working practices

• The cost of the workshop is:-

  • £10         For our regular users

  • £20         For people who do not attend the centre but wish to come on a training workshop

  Please note priority will be given to our regular users.
