Other information: Abba first became famous after winning the Eurovision Song Contest singing the classic "Waterloo". They weren't one hit wonders however as they brought out a string of hits including "Mamma Mia" and "Dancing Queen" helping them to become one of the icons of the 70s. In the last few years there has been a resurgence of interest with the A-Teens in Europe and in the UK with The Supertroupers (Billie, B*Witched, Cleopatra, Steps & Tina Cousins) bringing out a medley of songs that were performed at the Brits and Abbamania, an album for charity with some of the biggest names in pop performing Abba classics.
